The Red Square is the most famous square in all of Russia and one of the most famous in the world next to Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Tiananmen Square in Peking (Beijing) is the world’s largest square with an area of 40 hectares. Located in central China’s capital is a symbol for the country and the communist regime since its construction was made after the coming to power of the regime of Mao Zedong, when large buildings were demolished to make room for the plaza.
