Travel to Billund and Legoland

With this almost free flights from RyanAir, some friends and I have bought a flight to Billund for 9 euros return. I imagine that this new route Madrid – Billund a lot of people will travel there and as we seek information about activities, transportation, housing. Well then, we hope to help a little with our contributions:

Billund Overview

Billund is curious because despite being well known for its international airport, and as the Lego headquarters in Europe (with his new Legoland) has only 8597 inhabitants.

Accommodation

In Billund no cheap hostel available from the hostel world website. But if we look from the tourism page of the city we can find some affordable bed and brakfast. We will be staying in this cabin for 6 people.

Taxi and rental car

From the website of the airport you can access various services of Taxi. To give you an idea, the taxi from the airport to Copenhagen to Billund to 6 people costs approximately 4,800 crowns. That is 640 euros. The truth is that it is far more profitable to rent a car, for around 150 euros for two days with unlimited mileage (Fuel extra).

Train in Billund

Billund to Copenhagen if you put a train at 21:50 and arrives at 1 am, the price goes very rare because there are plenty of options off Danish perfect do not understand, but apparently is about 40 euros .

Legoland
