Tenerife, it is wonderful! The variety of landscapes and hiking, architecture, food, weather … The whole thing go locuraviajes hanging on the blog. But since we have to start something, I chose one of the undisputed stars of the trip to Tenerife: Teide view.
No matter the plan you go: with family, friends, relaxing on a beach … if you spend a day on this excursion, you are missing one of the wonders of this wonderful island.
If you decide to go on organized tour, you will not have to worry about anything: a “bus” with more passengers will take you to key sites, usually starting in the South or if you stay in Puerto de la Cruz, La Orotava.
But if you decide to rent a car, our advice is do not hesitate to explore the island by mountain axis: starting from La Esperanza (near town of La Laguna) and continuing along the road that takes you to the National Park of Las Cañadas del Teide . So you go through different landscapes as you go upwards, see the sea of clouds and how it is tucked into the woods, and have the opportunity to see the north and south about the same time.
For the return you will have 3 main options: to the south, coming to the Cliffs of the Giants in the north, down the Orotava, and go back where you came from.
