Milford is a fjord located in the south island of New Zealand, where we see a scene of immense beauty that some have dubbed the eighth wonder of the world. Located in Fiordland National Park, a remote area of 1,200,000 hectares which houses wonders of nature as the second highest waterfall in the world. In its forests and streams have been found animals (such as the Takahe, a rare bird) that were believed to try and put.
Visiting the area is a relatively simple task that allows venture into a world almost untouched. Reached by boat from Queensland and when you get there before it absolutely no sign to distinguish the passage of man in these parts. Water, pure forest and wildlife is what we find.
There are a number of hiking trails that can be performed by Milford. For more information please visit the conservation department will the Milford Track.
